Brand & Packaging Project

Pitch: “Create a premium vodka brand to go along side our high end craft whiskey.”

After completing a few different brand pitches for Wigle Whiskey, they ultimately decided to double down on local. The concept would be to use their pittsburgh based distillery as the ultimate inspiration fo this project. Wigle’s distillery is located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s vibrant strip district which lead to this deceptivaley bright label hiding behind the dark, bold, luxurious face of the bottle.

I wanted to create a bottle that captured the feeling of walking down Smallman St. on the way to Wigle’s distillery. The historic brick buildings beautifully clash with colorful walkways and exciting new buisnesses. As you walk past this bottle on a shelf the warping colors of the inside facing label draw customers in to more closely explore the location this product is named after.
